Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Productivity Genie collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as your email address and display name; productivity content you choose to enter, including tasks, habits, goals, wins, schedules, mood check-ins, and conversations with Mo; subscription and entitlement status; notification tokens and preferences; and limited device, usage, diagnostic, and crash information.
AI and Voice Features
Content you send to Mo may be processed by OpenAI to generate coaching responses and transcriptions. Voice recordings are uploaded only when you use voice input and are deleted from our temporary storage after transcription. Do not submit information you do not want processed by these services.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and personalize the app, sync your data, generate AI coaching, process purchases, deliver notifications, enforce free and paid limits, measure feature performance, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service.
Service Providers
We use service providers including Convex for authentication and cloud data, OpenAI for AI and transcription, RevenueCat and Apple or Google for subscriptions, PostHog for product analytics, Sentry for error diagnostics, and Expo for app updates and notifications. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You can permanently delete your account and app data from Settings. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed in the applicable store account.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can control notification, microphone, and calendar permissions in device settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Children
Productivity Genie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will update the date on this page when changes are published.
